Terms of service
Last updated October 1, 2026
These terms are the agreement between SnowBiller and the company that signs up (the "customer"), and they apply to everyone who uses SnowBiller for that company. By creating an account or using SnowBiller, you agree to them on your company's behalf, so please make sure you're allowed to. Questions go to support@snowbiller.com.
Accounts
- Each person needs their own sign-in. Keep it to yourself, and tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
- A company's owners decide who joins, what each role can do, and when people leave. The customer is responsible for what its people do in SnowBiller.
Your data
- The customer owns the records, photos and other content its people put into SnowBiller. We use them only to run SnowBiller for the customer, as described in the privacy policy.
- The customer is responsible for having the right to upload what it uploads, including permission to record locations and take photos at its customers' properties.
- You can download billing PDFs, entries as a spreadsheet and photos at any time. If the customer deletes the company, its data is deleted.
Acceptable use
Don't use SnowBiller to break the law, to upload anything harmful or that you don't have the right to share, to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, or to overload, probe or copy the service. We may suspend access that puts the service or other customers at risk, and we'll tell you why when we can.
Plans, trials and payment
- New companies get a free trial of 14 days. When it ends, choose a plan to keep using SnowBiller; your data stays in the meantime.
- Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with at least 30 days' notice to company owners.
- You can change plans or cancel any time in Settings → Subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current month isn't refunded unless the law requires it.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it. Access may be limited if the subscription stays unpaid.
- Prices don't include taxes, which are added where they apply.
The service
We work to keep SnowBiller available, secure and backed up, and we improve it over time; features may change. Planned maintenance happens outside busy hours when possible. The field app needs a phone with a current web browser, and location features need the phone's location to be turned on.
SnowBiller's property
SnowBiller, its software, design and brand belong to us. These terms give the customer the right to use the service during its subscription, nothing more. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
Ending the agreement
The customer can stop using SnowBiller and delete the company at any time. We may end the agreement if these terms are seriously broken and the problem isn't fixed after notice, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we'll give reasonable notice and time to download your data.
Disclaimers and liability
SnowBiller helps you record and bill work, but the customer remains responsible for its prices, its billing and its agreements with its own customers. Except where the law doesn't allow it, the service is provided "as is", and SnowBiller isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts the customer paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell company owners before the change takes effect. Continuing to use SnowBiller after that means accepting the new terms.
